Real Stories, Real Results

AI at Axway APAC — What's Actually Happening

The Bedrock Trial — One Month In

5 people. Different roles. Same tool. One month.

  • Usage patterns varied wildly by role (as expected)
  • Consistent feedback: "This is what AI should have been all along"
  • Two unsolicited "this is SO much better than Copilot" messages — within the first hour

That last point matters. Nobody asked them for feedback. They volunteered it.

Dhruv's Time Tracker

The problem: Corporate timesheet system. Terrible UI. 15 minutes a day of pain.

Attempt 1 — Copilot 365: More time fighting the tool than just filling in the timesheet manually. "Would you like me to help you think about possibly..."

Attempt 2 — Claude, Day 1: Specified requirements. Built a custom local program. Works exactly how his brain works.

Cost: $2.50. One time.

For someone billed out at thousands per day.

That's not a tool. That's arbitrage.

Gill's First Hour

Gill — the person everyone goes to for answers.

Decades of institutional knowledge. Client relationships. The kind of expertise that takes years to build.

Her reaction, 60 minutes in:

"It's like a consulting service"

"I CAN NEVER GO BACK TO COPILOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

That's not polite feedback. That's a professional assessment from someone who knows what good advisory looks like.

Saori's AI Integration

Joined two years ago as a junior. Toyota engagement, Japanese language requirement.

Now: building a complex AI integration — her first AI project.

Not a chatbot. Not a demo. Production-grade, customer-facing.

With Claude as her baseline from Day 1.

The tool you start with shapes what you think is possible.

She will never accept less. And that's the point.

Capturing Tribal Knowledge

We have a SecureTransport flow engineering skill.

Months of tribal knowledge — API quirks, deployment patterns, testing harnesses, error log locations, PGP encryption flows.

Written once. Available to every AI agent, instantly.

What tribal knowledge exists in your team right now that only one person holds?

What happens when they go on leave? Change roles? Leave?

From the Room

Who else has a story?

Something you built. Something that surprised you.

A moment where AI actually saved you time or changed how you work.

Don't be shy. The best use cases come from people solving their own problems.

The Bigger Picture

Axway came back from the Paris AI Forum with a clear message:

"AI or bust."

This isn't an experiment. The company is institutionally serious.

We invested in Claude on Bedrock because we believe in giving you the best tool, not the cheapest one.

Competitors are moving. Standing still is falling behind.

The Uncomfortable Truth

This is not "AI will replace you."

This is "someone using AI will outperform someone who isn't."

Dhruv saved 15 minutes a day on timesheets. That's 60+ hours a year.

What did he do with that time? More valuable work.

The multiplier isn't about doing more. It's about doing better.

Next Week — Your Turn

You've seen what's possible. You've seen how. You've heard the stories.

Next Friday: What would YOU build?

Come with ideas. Come with problems. Come with that thing that wastes your time every week.

We're going to figure it out together.
